Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A couple allegedly misbehaved with an Austrian national (who is a software developer and working with a company here), in full public view in Vijay Nagar area on Sunday. The couple allegedly tried to damage his car, saying that he had hit their vehicle.
However, some people intervened and managed to send the foreign national home safely. The incident took place near Sayaji Square at around 1.30 pm. Michael Probst, who has been staying in Scheme Number 54 for a few months, was going somewhere in a car.
He made a video and circulated it on social media, stating that when he was driving slowly through a small lane near the square, he noticed that someone hit his car from behind. He looked back and found a couple shouting at him, alleging that he hit their vehicle. Michael said that he had seen sufficient space between his car and their bike but the couple misbehaved with him for no reason.
He alleged that the woman tried to damage his car by showing a heavy stone. Meanwhile, some people intervened and helped him reach home safely. On coming to know about the incident, Vijay Nagar police station in charge Chandrakant Patel sent cops to the spot but the couple had left by then. Patel said that action would be taken after receiving a complaint from the Austrian national.
