GRP Recovers 379 Stolen Mobile Phones Worth ₹58 L In Past Six Months In Indore
All recovered devices were returned to their rightful owners following legal procedures.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indore Government Railway Police (GRP) has recovered 379 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 58 lakh in the past six months, using modern surveillance tools such as CCTV monitoring, proactive informant networks and other technical assistance.
The GRP’s coordinated operations to track and recover stolen mobile phones not only helped trace the theft cases but also led to the successful recovery of a significant number of stolen devices.
According to the GRP officials, they recovered 379 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 58,53,832 from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. All recovered devices were returned to their rightful owners following legal procedures.
