The accused, Akashdeep Singh alias Baz was involved in the attack on Kila Lal Singh Police Station in Batala, Gurdaspur.
According to the police, Singh first reached Gujarat after fleeing from Punjab. Later, moved to Indore where he was working under a false identity as a crane operator at a construction site in the Hiranagar police station area.
