DAVV to begin PG admission process on CUET-PG scores in June

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is set to begin the admission process for postgraduate courses in June, based on scores from the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET-PG), three days after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results.

According to officials, NTA is currently finalising detailed result data, which will be sent to participating universities, including DAVV, by May 20. Once the data is received, the university will begin compiling merit lists and generating ranks.

This year, CUET-PG saw participation from around 13 lakh students across over 650 cities in India. At DAVV, 28 postgraduate programmes are offered under CUET-PG, with a total intake of 1,485 seats.

Dr Kanhaiya Ahuja, CUET-PG chairman at DAVV, confirmed that the university will need about 8 to 10 days to scrutinise the data after receipt. "Merit lists will be prepared first, followed by rank generation. Only after verification, the counselling registration window will open," he said.

The registration period for counselling is expected to last three weeks. The registration fee is yet to be finalised.
