YouTuber Manish Kashyap Assaulted, Held Hostage for 3 Hours By Doctors At PMCH Patna (Video)
After the news of the assault against Kashyap spread, his supporters gathered outside PMCH in protest. ASP Diksha of Patna Sadar stated, "No formal complaint has been filed yet. There was some pushing and shoving. Further action will be taken once a complaint is received."

BJP leader and popular YouTuber Manish Kashyap was allegedly assaulted by doctors at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Monday. According to reports, Kashyap was confined to a room within the hospital for approximately three hours and had his mobile phone confiscated following the altercation.
Kashyap emerged from PMCH with visible facial injuries after the three-hour detention. He left the premises in a car accompanied by his friend Mani Dwivedi. Sources suggest that Kashyap was released only after he apologised to the medical staff, and allegedly after intervention from BJP leadership.
The incident occurred when Kashyap visited the hospital to advocate for a patient. During his visit, he reportedly began recording video documentation of alleged irregularities at the facility. This prompted a disagreement with a female doctor on duty, which escalated when her colleagues joined in opposition to Kashyap's actions. The doctors allegedly forced Kashyap to delete the recorded footage from his mobile device.

Kashyap joined the BJP last year during the Lok Sabha elections and has since campaigned for the party in Jharkhand and Delhi.
This is not Kashyap's first controversy. He was previously implicated in a case for allegedly sharing fabricated videos of violence against Bihar laborers in Tamil Nadu. The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police had filed an FIR against him in this matter. After evading arrest for several days, Kashyap surrendered at Shikarpur police station on March 18, 2023, when Bettiah police began attachment proceedings in a separate case. He was subsequently taken into custody by the EOU team, interrogated on remand, and sent to jail. Kashyap was granted bail by the court in December 2023.
