Weather Update For July 28: Heavy Rainfall Is Predicted In These Regions Of India; IMD Issues Orange Alert

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in various states, including Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Meghalaya.

Delhi: As the monsoon advances towards northern India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heavy rainfall in various regions of India. According to the weather department, the southwest monsoon in India, which has already advanced in many parts, is bringing rainfall, and due to this, IMD has issued a red and orange alert in numerous parts of India.

A red and orange alert has been issued in these regions
According to the weather department, the rainfall is likely to be accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. The red alert has been issued in East Rajasthan, whereas an orange alert has been issued in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western regions of Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Rajasthan, and some regions of Karnataka. A yellow alert has been issued in other regions of India.
