Madurai: A 17-year-old youth created a ruckus after he operated a JCB excavator at Tamil Nadu's Madurai. He started the excavator and rammed it into parked vehicles on the road at Madurai's Sellur, reported The Times of India. The damaged vehicles include bikes, autorickshaws and a car. The incident was caught on camera and soon the video started doing rounds on social media.
According to the report, the youth drove the excavator for about half a kilometre. The incident took place at around 2:30 am. He started driving the excavator from Sellur 50 Feet Road. A port of a building was also damaged by the excavator, reported TOI.

In the video, it could be seen that the youth drove the excavator at a high speed and rammed it into the parked vehicles. after listening to the sound, locals rushed to the spot.
The boy was apprehended by the locals as he also ran over a security guard. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation to find out the motive behind the boy's actions.
Cops are investigating whether the boy was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when he started the excavator.
