Ghaziabad: A disturbing video surfaced from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad in which a cook could be seen spitting on "rotis" at a wedding. The incident took place in the Bhojpur police station area of the city. The video which surfaced on Tuesday soon went viral.
The video sparked outrage. In the clip, a man was seen spitting on dough before putting it in a tandoor. After the video went viral, the police took cognizance of the incident.

The police confirmed that the incident took place on February 20. Authorities swung into action and arrested the accused. He has been identified as Farman. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
Statement By The Ghaziabad Rural Police Official:
In October last year also, a similar incident surfaced in which a man was seen spitting on rotis while preparing them at a roadside dhaba in UP's Barabanki. Soon this video went viral. He was seen spitting each time before placing a roti in the tandoor to cook.

Soon after the video went viral on social media, authorities took quick action and sealed the dhaba, while police detained the individual responsible for making the rotis.
