VIDEO: Thar Goes On Rampage In Noida, Several Vehicles Damaged; Driver Arrested

Noida: An unidentified person driving Thar created a ruckus on a road in Uttar Pradesh's Noida. The entire incident was caught on camera and the video went viral on social media on Wednesday, March 12.

The viral video shows the Thar rammed into several vehicles on the road. The incident reportedly took place on March 10 Sector 16 car market under the jurisdiction of the Phase-1 Police Station.

In the video, it could be seen that the driver lost control of the Thar and ran over several vehicles, including bikes. Panic gripped the people present at the spot.

According to reports, no one sustained injuries, However, the driver of the vehicle did not slow down and managed to flee from the spot.

After the video went viral, the Uttar Pradesh Police took cognizance of the incident. It directed the Noida Police to take appropriate action against the driver.

Later in the day, Gautam Buddh Nagar Police confirmed the arrest of the accused driver in a social media post. Taking to X, the Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar stated, "An accused who abused, assaulted, and drove a Thar vehicle recklessly, colliding with other vehicles, has been arrested. The Thar vehicle involved in the incident has been recovered from the accused's possession."

In a similar incident that took place in November last year, a drunk man created a chaos at a posh residential colony in Jabalpur. He vandalised parked SUVs, pelted stones at public when they tried to stop him. The entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the area.
