VIDEO: Punjab Police Arrest 3 Accused In Shiv Sena (Shinde) Leader Mangat Rai Manga’s Murder After Encounter Near Malout
Punjab police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three accused in connection with the murder of Mangat Rai Manga, Moga district president of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde). Stating that the three accused were nabbed following an encounter late on Friday night from near Malout town of Muktsar district in which two of them sustained injuries.

Chandigarh: Punjab police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three accused in connection with the murder of Mangat Rai Manga, Moga district president of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde).
It may be recalled that Manga was shot dead by some unidentified assailants on Thursday night in Moga town, an attack in which an 11-year old boy also sustained bullet injuries.
Stating that the three accused were nabbed following an encounter late on Friday night from near Malout town of Muktsar district in which two of them sustained injuries, police said that two pistols were also seized from the accused.
Police said that arrests were after police teams which got a tip off that the accused were seen near Malout bus stand, gheraoed them and asked them surrender but they opened fire at the police. Two of the accused sustained bullet injuries in retaliatory firing by police. The injured accused were referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot.
Police said that the trio accused were residents of Moga district and were identified as Arun Singha, Arun Deepa and Rajvir. Details were awaited.
