VIDEO: Lashkar's Over Ground Worker, Who Provided Logistics To Pahalgam Attackers, Jumps Into River, Drowns
A 23-year-old man a suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist drowned after he jumped into a river as he reportedly escaped from the security personnel.

Srinagar: A 23-year-old man a suspected Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT's) over ground worker drowned after he jumped into a river as he reportedly escaped from the security personnel. Notably, the deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad. He was detained by Jammu and Kashmir police over suspicions of being a sleeper cell of the LeT, reported India Today.
A video of Ahmad jumping into the river surfaced online. The video shows, the man scanning the forest area after jumping into the river. He was picked up by the police for questioning related to the Pahalham terror attack.

During the questioning, he told the police that he provided logistics, food and shelter to terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam terror attack, reported NDTV. On Sunday morning, when Ahmad was taken to the terrorists' hideout, he jumped into the Veshaw River in an attempt to flee, the media house reported citing sources.
The exact moment he jumped into the river was captured on the camera. His body was later recovered from the river. After the incident, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti alleged foul play in Ahmad's death.
"Yet another body has been recovered from a river in Kulgam raising serious allegations of foul play. Local residents allege that Imtiyaz Magray was picked up by the army two days ago and now mysteriously his body has surfaced in the river," Mufti said in an X post.
On April 22, At least 26 people, mostly tourists were killed by terrorists at Baisasarn meadow near Pahalgam. Among the deceased was a local pony guide who lost his life while saving tourists. As per eyewitnesses, the terrorists singled out non-Muslims and shot them dead.
