Video: Drunk Russian Woman Creates Ruckus After Hitting 3 Men In Chhattisgarh's Raipur; Arrested

A Russian woman created a ruckus on Raipur's VIP Road late Thursday night. The woman driver, who appeared to be drunk, hit a scooter carrying 3 people, seriously injuring them. When people stopped the car and police arrived at the scene, the woman created a huge scene.

The Telibandha police are taking action against the woman and a young man who was with her. The car she was driving had "Government of India" written on it. The injured have been taken to the hospital where their treatment is ongoing.

The incident occurred around 12:30 at night. Police received information that a speeding car had hit a scooter. The car had "Government of India" written on it. According to police information, the car belonged to DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) Public Prosecutor Bhavesh Acharya. However, during the incident, the car was being driven by his friend Nodira, a resident of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Both Were Heavily Intoxicated

According to reports, the government lawyer and the foreign woman were heavily drunk during the incident. Both were going to buy cigarettes after leaving a pub. Nodira was driving the car at high speed.

After the incident, people nearby stopped the car. The Telibandha police patrolling team also arrived at the scene. After getting out of the car, the foreign woman started creating a scene. She lost her phone at the scene, after which she started demanding her mobile phone from bystanders, accusing them of taking it. The police kept asking her to come to the station, but she continued creating a disturbance in her intoxicated state.

Nodira had come to Raipur on a tourist visa. Currently, her place of residence in Raipur has not been determined. The Telibandha police have sent both the man and woman for medical examination. The report will reveal how much alcohol they had consumed.

Telibandha Station In-charge Narendra Mishra said that a case has been registered against the accused for causing an accident by driving recklessly at high speed. After the medical report, sections related to drink and drive will also be added to the case. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. The car has been seized.
