Video: 36-Year-Old Man Falls Off Bridge Into Cauvery River While Getting Clicked
A rescue operation was launched by fire and emergency services personnel, and a case has been filed at KRS Police Station regarding the incident.

A 36-year-old man was swept away in the swollen waters of the Cauvery River in Karnataka's Mandya district while posing for a photo on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the victim has been identified as Mahesh. He was an auto driver in Mysuru and had come for a picnic with friends near the Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) area near Sarva Dharma Ashram in Srirangapatna.
A video showing the last moments of Mahesh has surfaced on social media. In the video, Mahesh can be seen standing at the edge of the bridge, which had no railings.

A two-second clip of the incident, shared by NDTV, shows Mahesh slipping and falling into the Cauvery River. According to reports, after the fall, he was swept away by the strong current of the swollen river.
