UP Sets ₹38 Lakh Crore Investment Goal: Invest UP To Convert 24,000 MoUs Into Production Units By December 2026

An ambitious target is set, to bring over 24,000 investment Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), totaling approximately ₹38 lakh crore, to fruition within 21 months. Invest UP has established a dedicated monitoring mechanism to ensure these proposals translate into production units.

Under this new corporate-style account management model, 40 Invest UP account managers have each been tasked with materializing 100 MOUs worth over ₹100 crore.

For the 19,500 MOUs under ₹100 crore, "Udyami Mitras" and General Managers of District Industries Centers (DICs) will oversee their conversion into operational units. All involved parties are given a seven-quarter deadline to ensure MOUs transform into production facilities.

Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand is personally responsible for the top 200 MOUs and has set a target for all MOUs to be ready for production or groundbreaking ceremonies by December 26. A relationship manager has also been assigned to each investment MOU to monitor progress and address challenges.

Additionally, Invest UP is actively pursuing investment leads from 814 major companies listed in Fortune India 1000, Fortune 500 India, and Next 500. Under the "China+1" strategy, contacts have been made with companies from 31 in the USA, 17 in Germany, 21 in Japan, 14 in China, and others from France, Switzerland, Denmark, UK, and Spain.
