Jaunpur: Heavy rains lashed several parts of Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours, throwing normal life out of gear. Amid incessant showers, a restaurant collapsed in UP's Jaunpur. The incident was caught on camera, and dramatic visuals surfaced online.
The video shows a portion of the pizza restaurant and an electric pole collapsing into a drain flowing next to the building. According to reports, no one was injured in the incident. Locals gathered at the spot.

Heavy showers wreaked havoc in Lucknow and adjoining areas. The city witnessed over 6 cm of rainfall in 24 hours till 8:30 pm on Thursday, reported Hindustan Times, citing the data from the regional meteorological department.
IMD Weather Forecast:
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a fresh spell of heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh from 10th August, 2025. On Meanwhile, on August 12 and 12, isolated heavy rainfall is expected over August 12 and 13.
