Lucknow: Cabinet Minister in the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh goverment, Sanjay Nishad's Fortuner car was towed by traffic police after being found parked in a no-parking zone inside the Assembly premises on Thursday. The incident occured when the Monsoon Session of the assembly was ongoing.

The incident took place when Nishad’s car, parked by his driver inside the complex, lead to a traffic jam. A video of the incident has surfaced. The video shows, a crane being used to pull the car out of the premises. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

Who Is Sanjay Nishad

Sanjay Nishad, the National President and founder of the Nishad Party. He is also the Minister of Fisheries. The 60-year-old leader has been a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council since 2021.

Meanwhile, Thursday was the fourth day of the Monsoon Session. On the fourth day of the Monsoon Session, CM Yogi Adityanath addressed the Assembly, highlighting his eight-and-a-half-year tenure (2017–2025) while contrasting it with opposition rule from 1947–2017.

He slammed the opposition’s so-called ‘vision,’ noting that in 70 years they failed to put UP on the development path, leaving incomplete networks and stagnant investments. Between 1947 and 2017, the state had just two expressways, under 12,000 km of national highways, few airports, no rural connectivity, and no industrial policy.
