'This Isn't Mistake, It's A Pattern': BJP Slams Congress Kerala Unit For Sharing 'Distorted' Map Of India; INC Rectifies Post |
BJP leader Amit Malviya on Wednesday hit out at the Kerala unit of the Congress party for sharing a distorted map of India in a post targeting Prime Minister Modi's foreign visits.
Taking to X, Malviya shared the now-deleted Congress Kerala post, stating, "Shocking but not surprising. Congress Kerala has shared a map of India that cedes parts of Jammu & Kashmir to Pakistan and China."
"This isn't a mistake. It's a pattern. From Karnataka to Tamil Nadu to now Kerala, Congress units across states have repeatedly posted distorted maps of India," he added.
Malviya further questioned, "Is this the official Congress stand now? To give away our territory just to please their handlers?"

This incident follows last week's controversy when the BJP criticised the Tamil Nadu Congress unit for similarly using an incorrect map of India during a promotional campaign for an anti-BJP government book.
The Congress Kerala handle had originally shared a world map graphic highlighting countries visited by PM Modi in red. The post sarcastically remarked, "Sincerely praying for Modiji's good health and strong GST collections so that one day we can paint the entire map red," referring to unvisited countries as being on the PM's "bucket list".
After recognising the error, the party promptly removed the post and later uploaded a corrected version with an accurate map of India.
