Tamil Nadu: Speeding Truck Crashes Into Private Bus Making U-Turn On Chennai-Bengaluru Highway; Bus Overturns (Video Surfaces)

Thandalam: A terrifying accident was caught on camera in which it can be seen that a private bus collided with a truck on Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway near Thandalam, close to Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday morning. There are reports that over ten individuals have suffered serious injuries in the accident. The horrific accident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. The video shows that the bus toppled sideways due to the impact of the collision.

The incident occurred when the private was taking a U-turn at a signal on the highway. A speeding truck rammed into the truck from the side and dragged the bus for some distance after it toppled sideways due to the collision. The truck stopped after ramming the bus into an electric pole on the divider. The video also shows that passengers escaping from the bus after the accident occurred.

The people present at the spot rushed to the bus to help the victims. They can be seen removing people from inside the bus. As per reports, around seven passengers sustained serious injuries in the accident and they were rushed to the Sriperumbudur Government Hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. There are no reports of any casualties in the accident.

The police have launched an investigation into the accident and are examining the CCTV footage of the accident. The video of the accident has gone viral on social media and the internet users are blaming a person who was trying to cross the road while walking in front of the bus, this delayed the bus in taking the U-turn.

One of the users said, "Apart from private bus drivers rudeness. This incident involves the idiot who has crossed the road in front of the bus, This might've caused the delay in crossing & the lorry Collison into the bus."
