Tamil Nadu Shocker: Minor Student Allegedly Gang-Raped By 3 Teachers In Krishnagiri District; Accused Arrested Under POCSO Act
A minor student was allegedly gang-raped by three teachers at a government middle school in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district. The three teachers have been suspended by the District Education Officer (DEO) and arrested under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Krishnagiri: In a shocking incident, a minor student was allegedly gang-raped by three teachers at a government middle school in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district. The three teachers have been suspended by the District Education Officer (DEO) and arrested under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
As per Krishnagiri Collector C Dinesh Kumar, the accused teachers were sent to police and remanded for 15 days. The girl was absent from the school for almost a month and when enquired by the principal, her mother alleged that the minor was sexually assaulted, reported India Today.
Krishnagiri Collector C Dinesh Kumar's Statement:
On the advice of the principal, the 13-year-old girl's family filed a police complaint. The matter was reported to the District Child Protection Officer. The girl was then admitted to the hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment there.
The incident sparked an outrage among the locals. The relatives of the girl staged a protest and demanded strict action against the accused.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
