Meerut: A video showing Chaudhary Charan Singh University’s KP Boys Hostel warden, DK Chauhan, brutally assaulting students has ignited widespread outrage on campus. In the clip, the warden can be seen striking four students with a stick and administering slaps late at night. Hundreds of students have since staged a dharna demanding his immediate removal.
According to reports, the violence erupted when the warden discovered water spilt on the corridor floor and students sharing rooms late into the night. A video of the entire incident went viral on social media.

Protesters claim this is not an isolated incident. They allege Chauhan has repeatedly misbehaved with residents, resorting to physical punishment on several occasions.
The administration, meanwhile, has not yet responded, fuelling further anger among protestors.
