Shocking! Ayodhya Guest House Staffer Arrested After Filming Obscene Video Of Woman Bathing; Police Launch Probe

Ayodhya: A disturbing case of privacy violations surfaced from Ayodhya's Ramnagari area, where a woman staying at a local guest house alleged that she was secretly filmed while bathing.

The incident took place at a guest house located near the Vishisht Darshan Marg Gate No 3 of the Ram Janmabhoomi Complex. The accused, identified as Saurabh, has been taken into police custody for questioning. Preliminary investigations revealed that multiple obscene videos were recovered from his mobile phone.

Guest Was Filmed Without Consent

The victim, who was travelling from Kashi to Ayodhya for a pilgrimage with her family, lodged a complaint early Friday (April 11) morning. According to her statement, the accused attempted to film her secretly at around 6:00 AM while she was bathing in the guest house bathroom. Upon receiving the complaint, police officials promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended Saurabh, a resident of the Bahraich district who works at the guest house.

After examining his mobile phone, police recovered several obscene photos and videos, raising suspicions of repeated offenses. The accused is currently under interrogation, as per reports.

Notice Served Over 'Illegal Construction'

In addition to the investigation, the local Development Authority has also served a notice to the guest house operator, stating that the establishment was constructed without official approval of the building layout.

Officials also reported that the guest house may face sealing due to regulatory violations.
