Shortly after Mumbai Police confirmed the nationality of the nabbed attacker in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, BJP leader Amit Malviya launched a scathing attack on Congress party and other INDIA alliance parties, seeking an apology from them.
Taking to X on Sunday, Malviya stated, 'Mumbai Police has confirmed that Mohammad Shariful Islam, who attacked Saif Ali Khan, is an illegal resident from Bangladesh and had assumed a Hindu identity.'
Alleging that INDIA alliance parties were exploiting illegal immigrants, Malviya said, 'Political parties like the Congress, TMC, and others in the I.N.D.I.A. Alliance that exploit illegal immigrants as vote banks and had sought to communalize this incident to malign Hindus should apologise.'
Malviya's attack against opposition parties comes after Mumbai Police on Sunday arrested a 30-year-old man from Thane who allegedly stabbed Saif Ali Khan at the actor's residence in Mumbai's Bandra.
