A woman was trying to board the train, but she started slipping from the overcrowded moving train. The RPF Jawan immediately saw the woman losing grip of the train's gate and slipping in the gap between the train and the platform.

Motihari: A major accident was averted in Bihar's Motihari, due to the prompt alertness of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Jawan at the railway station, the life of a female passenger was saved. The incident took place on Monday at around 18:30.
A woman was trying to board the train, but she started slipping from the overcrowded moving train. The RPF Jawan immediately saw the woman losing grip of the train's gate and slipping in the gap between the train and the platform.
He risked his own life, threw away the packet that he had in his hand and pulled the woman out of the train and brought her down to the platform. A CCTV footage of the incident is making rounds on the internet.
"Life saved in seconds! A woman slipped while boarding the #Bapudham Motihari–Patliputra MEMU Intercity at #Chakia station—RPF’s Jay Prakash Yadav rushed and rescued her just in time. Owing to his quick reflexes, the passenger remained safe," RPF India posted on micro-blogging website X.
The on-duty RPF jawan has been identified as Jaiprakash Yadav. Reportedly, Yadav not only rescued the woman but also helped her to board the train so that she could complete her journey.
