Operation Sindoor |
Kolkata: Wives of deceased persons in Pahalgam attack on Wednesday had thanked the NDA led central government for ‘Mission Sindoor’ attack.
Talking to FPJ, Sarbari Guha, wife of deceased Samir Guha said that not just attacking a few terrorist camps will bring ‘peace’ but removing Pakistan from the map is the permanent solution.
“I will not get back what I have lost. But this attack at least brought some relief to all of us. In no words can I thank the central government for this operation. If Pakistan is not removed from the map completely then such a thing can be repeated. I am sure the government will plan further steps to curb this menace,” said Sarbari.
Sushanta Ghosh, a relative of Samir Guha added, “It was expected that the government will take action. We all were waiting for it and finally the attack happened.”
Sohini Adhikari, wife of deceased Bitan Adhikari said that no other woman should lose their ‘sindoor’ like the way she had lost.

“I still believe that my late husband can see and hear us. I think even he is happy over this attack. I am grateful to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I have lost my sindoor, no one should lose it the way I have lost. This ‘Operation Sindoor’ should ensure this,” stated Sohini.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that her government will cooperate completely with the central government.
“I had discussions with the central government and with all the departments. Due to privacy, I will not disclose anything. At this crisis we should all be together. There should not be any difference as we all love our country. People should not spread unnecessary news and no one should be unnecessarily panicky,” added Mamata.
