Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Sports Council President (IAS) Neeraj K Pawan have received life threats on Thursday. The threats were received in the official Email accounts of the CM and Sports Council.
The police said that the email was sent by an email account of some Divij Prabhakara to the official e-mail IDs of CM Sharma and Pawan. The person also threatened to blow up the SMS stadium, where the fifth match of IPL is scheduled on May 18th. The email was received at 4:12 am on Thursday.
Following this, the security staff were increased for the CM and Pawan. The stadium premises was also thoroughly checked, but the call turned out to be a hoax one as nothing was found there.
It is worth mentioning that SMS stadium is constantly receiving threats of being blown up with a bomb and this was the sixth hoax threat in the last one week.

The police officials said that the cyber team is working on the issue and is in touch with Hyderabad police as to get details of the rape case mentioned in the email.
