Chandigarh: Teams of Punjab police and Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday seized six pistols and 14 magazines in a joint search operation along the international border in Amritsar sector.
According to information, the operation was carried out on the basis of intel when a packet was found in a field near Mahawa village.
On Wednesday, three pistols along with six magazines and 97 rounds were seized along the border in Tarn Taran sector. Police believed, both the consignments of weapons were dropped by drones from Pakistan.
