'PM Aaye Toh Aur Takleef Hogi': Amit Shah’s Fiery Remarks In Rajya Sabha During ‘Operation Sindoor’ Debate (VIDEO)

New Delhi, July 30: A heated debate erupted in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday during the debate on ‘Operation Sindoor’, as Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a series of strong statements targeting the Opposition, particularly the Congress party for demanding a reply from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The session saw repeated uproars as the Opposition demanded that PM Modi respond to their questions on national security.

During the verbal exchanges, Amit Shah said, "Mere se nipat lo, PM aaye toh aur takleef hogi." (Deal with me, if the Prime Minister comes, it will be more difficult for you). Amit Shah's statement drew loud reaction the opposition in Rajya Sabha.

LoP, Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said, "There was a demand from the Opposition that the PM should come to the House and give a reply. If the PM doesn't come to the House despite being present in Parliament premises, then it is an insult to the House."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had informed the House that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present in his office after which the Opposition kept making demands for a reply from the PM.

Operation Mahadev and Terrorism in J&K

Shah informed the House that Indian security forces recently conducted Operation Mahadev, killing three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack.

“On Monday, our security forces conducted Operation Mahadev, in which three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were killed,” he said.

He also criticised the Opposition for questioning the timing of the operation. He said, “Yesterday, you (Congress) were asking why the Pahalgam terrorists were killed on that day. Why should they not have been killed yesterday? Because Rahul Gandhi was supposed to deliver his speech? It doesn’t work like this. The entire country is seeing that Congress’ priority is not national security and ending terrorism, but politics, vote bank, and appeasement.”

Modi Government’s Commitment to End Terrorism

Amit Shah asserted that the Narendra Modi government is determined to completely eliminate terrorism from Jammu & Kashmir. “Today, standing in this House, I promise that Jammu & Kashmir will be free from terrorism. This is the resolve of the Narendra Modi government.”

He highlighted the government’s aggressive stance against Pakistan-backed terrorism, “We attacked their (Pakistan’s) terror camps, launching pads, and training camps, but they considered it an attack on their country. In response, on 8th May, Pakistan attacked residential areas and defence installations in India. On 9th May, India retaliated and destroyed 11 of Pakistan’s defence installations and airbases. After this, Pakistan was not in a position to fight back.”

Shah further reminded the House of the shift in India’s policy under PM Modi, “Earlier, we only kept sending dossiers, but Narendra Modi gave a reply to Pakistan with airstrikes and surgical strikes… Khauf paida ho gaya (fear has been instilled).”
