In the early hours of Wednesday, May 7, 2025, India launched "Operation Sindoor," a tri-services military operation targeting nine terrorist infrastructure sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (Pok).
The operation was a response to the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 civilians, mostly Hindu tourists. Here are the visuals of the Bilal Mosque in Muzaffarabad and Bahawalpur, damage post launch of Operation Sindoor.
In the visuals that have surfaced online, significant damage can be seen at the Bilal Masjid in Muzaffarabad, following the reported Indian missile strikes.

The video shows debris scattered across the mosque premises, with parts of the structure visibly damaged. Cracks in the walls, shattered windows, and collapsed sections of the building indicate the intensity of the impact.
"Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and method of execution", said MoD.
These actions follow the brutal Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national. The Ministry reaffirmed India’s resolve to hold those behind the attack accountable, in line with the nation's commitment to protecting its people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed the top military leadership that the armed forces have full freedom to choose how, when, and where to respond to the attack.
