VHP, Bajrang Dal Activists Booked For Hurting Sentiments Get Bail | ANI
Nagpur: Eight members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal who were involved in the protest demanding the removal of Mughal emperor Aurangazeb's tomb in Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad) surrendered to Kotwali police and were subsequently granted bail on Wednesday.
They were arrested and later produced before the court, where the Judicial Magistrate First Class court in Nagpur granted them bail on a surety of Rs 3,000 cash deposit each, reported Times Of India.
Earlier in the day, a local leader from the Minority Democratic Party (MDP), was arrested for allegedly inciting violence in Nagpur.

Authorities confirmed that Khan, identified as a key instigator, has been remanded in custody until Friday. So far, 60 individuals have been arrested in connection with the violence.
RSS Reacts To Nagpur Violence
RSS national publicity in-charge (Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh), Sunil Ambekar, reacting to the Nagpur violence, said, “The issue of Aurangzeb is not relevant at present, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) does not support any form of violence.”
CM Fadnavis Vows Strictest Action Against Those Who Attacked Police
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Wednesday speaking on the Nagpur Violence in the assembly said that those who attacked the police will be "dug out from their graves" and made to face the law.
"Those who attacked police during the arson in Nagpur will be dug out from their graves. Attacks on police are unpardonable. They will get the strictest punishment. We won't spare them," Fadnavis said.
