The Uttar Pradesh government's Mission Shakti Phase Five has empowered millions of girls by instilling confidence, safety awareness, and self-reliance across 1.34 lakh schools. Launched during the 2024-25 academic year, the initiative focused on girls' education, protection, and self-reliance.
The program included self-defense training for 10 lakh girls, scout and guide training for 80,000, and digital and financial literacy programs reaching over 10 lakh students. The campaign also facilitated educational bank visits for girls from 45,655 schools.
