Manipur News: 16 Militants Arrested, Large Cache Of Arms Recovered In Joint Security Operation
Sixteen cadres affiliated with various hill and valley-based groups in Manipur were arrested and nearly 40 weapons were recovered between May 4 and May 12, under a series of joint operations launched by the Army and the Assam Rifles.

Guwahati: In a joint operation 16 militants were arrested and recovered a large number of arms ammunition in trouble torn Manipur since May 4 by the Army, Assam Rifles in coordination with the Manipur Police across several districts in both valley & hills.
In the joint operations 17 weapons, IEDs, grenades, and ammunition seized.
Sixteen cadres affiliated with various hill and valley-based groups in Manipur were arrested and nearly 40 weapons were recovered between May 4 and May 12, under a series of joint operations launched by the Army and the Assam Rifles.
The operations were conducted across various Manipur districts -- Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Tengnoupal, Chandel, and Senapati, in coordination with the state police CRPF, BSF, and ITBP.
