Salman Khan Residence Firing Case: Both Accused Sent To 4-Day Crime Branch Custody By Mumbai Court
The Bombay High Court on Thursday (April 25) sent the two accused in the Salman Khan residence firing case to 4 days of Crime Branch custody. The two accused are Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. On April 14, gun shots were fired at Galaxy Apartments, the Bandra residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The two accused were arrested from Gujarat and further investigation in the case is underway.

YouTuber Manish Kashyap Joins BJP
YouTuber Manish Kashyap officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 11 am on Thursday, with BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari and Anil Baluni present to welcome him. Bihar's famous YouTuber Kashyap traveled to Delhi along with BJP leader Manoj Tiwari.
Initially, Kashyap had planned to contest the Lok Sabha elections from West Champaran constituency. However, he has now reversed this decision and will not take part in the elections.
Akhilesh Yadav to file nomination from Kannauj today
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will file nomination papers on Thursday from the Kannauj Lok Sabha constituency. He secured victories from the in 2000, 2004 and 2009. However, his wife Dimple Yadav took over from Kannauj when Yadav became Uttar Pradesh chief minister in 2012. She won the seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections; however lost the constituency to 2019 to BJP’s Subrat Pathak in 2019.
70-year-old man killed in Mumbai's Antop Hill gas cylinder explosion
A cylinder blast in Mumbai's Antop Hill slum area was reported on Thursday morning. A 70-year-old man was killed in the explosion and others have been injured.
The fire brigade arrived at the scene to contain the blaze.
