In a major revelation in Agra-based TCS employee Manav Sharma's suicide case, the wife of the deceased man, Nikita, shared screenshots of WhatsApp chats between her and Manav's sister that took place moments before Manav took extreme steps.

The chats she shared show that a terrified Nikita pleaded with Manav's sister to check on her husband, but she instead asked Nikita to ignore him and go to sleep.

According to the purported chat, Nikita even told her sister-in-law that Manav had placed a chair on the bed and could take an extreme step. She was extremely worried about it, but Manav's sister did not pay heed to her desperate pleas.

Hours after Manav died by suicide, Nikita released a video statement saying, "After knowing about my past life before marriage, Manav had started drinking excessively. He even made attempts on his life 2-3 times before finally dying by suicide. I saved him three times."

Nikita claimed that her husband used to physically assault her under the influence of alcohol.

She said that after Manav's death, his family blamed her for the suicide, pushed her out of their house, and asked her to leave.
