The seats won by the party are Haveri, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga and Tumkur. Meanwhile, the Congress secured one seat (Gulbarga) and has been leading in eight seats, and the JD(S) won two seats – Mandya (HD Kumaraswamy) and Kolar (M Mallesh Babu). The JD(S), however, lost the Hassan seat from where the tainted MP Prajwal Revanna contested elections before his sexual abuse allegations came to the light.

Karnataka contributes 28 Lok Sabha seats to the country's 543 general assembly seats. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 25 of the 28 seats, while the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) had to pacify themselves with only one seat each.
