Karnataka: Failed ATM Robbery Attempt Caught On CCTV As Ballari Police Nabs Thief Red-Handed; Dramatic Video Surfaces Online
Cops caught a thief red-handed when he was trying to rob an ATM in Karnataka’s Ballari district on Tuesday. In the video, it could be seen that as the suspect damaged the ATM, he was confronted by a police officer wearing a helmet.

Ballari: In a dramatic incident, police caught a thief red-handed when he was trying to rob an automated teller machine (ATM) in Karnataka’s Ballari district on Tuesday. The incident was caught on camera, and the video started doing the rounds on social media.
Upon noticing suspicious movement inside the ATM booth during a patrol, cops immediately rushed to the spot. They dragged the thief out of the ATM booth.

In the video, it could be seen that as the suspect damaged the ATM, he was confronted by a police officer wearing a white-coloured safety helmet.
The CCTV footage also shows Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Mallikarjun nabbing the accused, reported PTI. Two police constables also helped the ASI in nabbing the accused. He was then taken to a police station.

Rs 93 Lakh Robbery In Karnataka’s Bidar:
Earlier in January this year, two bike-borne armed men carried out a 93-lakh robbery at an ATM near an SBI Bank in Karnataka's Bidar. The incident was caught on camera and the video also went viral on social media. The incident took place when three security personnel of a private security company arrived at the ATM to refill the cash.
One of the employees of the company was killed by the accused. Meanwhile, another employee of the company was injured. The robbers managed to flee from the spot with cash. In the video, it could be seen that people even pelted stones at the accused to prevent them from fleeing.
