Karnataka Exit Poll LIVE: Hung assembly predicted, JDS likely to emerge kingmaker
As the high-voltage Karnataka election comes to a close on Wednesday evening, most exit polls have predicted a hung assembly in the southern state. Majority of them have projected a slight edge for the Congress while the HD Kumaraswamy-led JD(S) is being seen as the kingmaker in the state. The majority mark in the 224-seat assembly stands at 113 seats.

Former CM Yediyurappa confident that Exit Polls will indicate BJP's victory
Former Karnataka CM BC Yediyurappa on Wednesday claimed that the BJP will get clear majority in the state and mentioned that the trend will be reflected in exit polls as well, according to reports.
He made remarks to media after he cast his ballot for the on-going election in Shikharipura.

Congress leader injured in attack in Bellary rural
Hubbali: A local leader, who was earlier with the BJP and had joined Congress recently, was injured in a clash between BJP and Congress workers during the polling in Bellary rural constituency in Karnataka on Wednesday.
Umesh Yadav was injured in the head in the clash between workers of the two parties. Police reached the spot and dispersed the violent mob.
In another incident, BJP workers allegedly clashed with the Karnataka Rajya Pragathi Paksha Party (KRPP) workers at booths no 159 and 160 at Gangavati central constituency.

Nearly 5.3 crore voters in Karnataka will decide the fate of the state and its governance as they vote to elect their representatives in 58,545 polling stations in 37,777 locations. The voting started at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm.
