India on Sunday released the names of the Pakistani Army personnel and top police officials of the Punjab province who attended the funeral of the terrorists killed in India's Operation Sindoor.

New Delhi: India on Sunday released the names of the Pakistani Army personnel and top police officials of the Punjab province who attended the funeral of the terrorists killed in India's Operation Sindoor on the intervening night of May 6 and 7. As per the Defence Ministry, the funeral of killed terrorists in Muridke, like Let Commander Abdul Rauf, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US Treasury, was carried out in Pakistan, reported ANI.
Several images of videos of Pakistani Army and police officials present at the funeral of designated global terrorists also surfaced online. Notably, it busted Pakistan's lies that it does not harbour or sponsor terrorism.
Here Is The List Of Pakistan Army and Police Personnel Present At the Funeral Of Terrorists:
- Lt Gen Fayyaz Hussain, Commander of the IV Corps of Lahore
- Major General Rao Imran, 11th Infantry Division of Lahore
- Brigadier Mohd Furqan from Administration, IG Punjab Police (Pakistan)
- Usman Anwar, Legislator of Pakistan's Punjab
- Malik Sohaib Ahmed
On the intervening night of May 6 and 7, the Indian Armed Forces targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). These terror camps were - Sawal Nala, Syedna Bilal, Gulpur, Barnala, and Abbas in PoK, and Bhawalpur, Muridke, Sarjal, Mehmoona Joya in Pakistan.
After India's precision strike, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also showed a photo of Pakistan Army personnel attending the funeral of the terrorists.

Notably, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Hafiz Abdul Rauf led the funeral prayers of three terrorists killed in Indian's precision strikes, reported India Today. Members of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), founded by LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, were also reportedly present at the funeral.
Among the terrorists neutralised were Khalid Abu Akasha, Mudassir Khadian Khas, Mohammad Hassan Khan, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel and Abdul Rauf Azhar, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar's brother.
India launched Operation Sindoor to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The escalation between India and Pakistan intensified after Pakistan launched drone attacks targeting Indian sites, prompting a swift and forceful response from India.
