Greater Noida: A shocking incident has emerged from Greater Noida, where a young man was brutally assaulted with a sharp object, resulting in his nose being severed, after he scolded a neighbor's pet dog. The victim was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Reportedly, Sukhbir Singh lives with his family in a rented house. On Tuesday night, his son, Devendra, was dancing to music at home when the neighbor's pet dog entered the house and began barking. This made Devendra angry and he scolded the dog and chased it away.
Enraged by this, the neighbor, Satish, along with his brother, Amit and son, Tushar, attacked Devendra, beating him and assaulting him with a sharp weapon.
Wife Attacked for Intervening
During the assault, Devendra's nose was severed and his wife, who attempted to intervene, was also beaten.
Police Action
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused.
Similar Incident
A similar incident took place in Agarola village, located in the Ghaziabad district. On Tuesday evening, Praveen Bansal, the brother of local businessman Arvind Bansal, had an argument with Ajay Bansal over walking a dog.
A short while later, Ajay’s son, Vicky—also known as Thaali—arrived at the factory and reportedly shot Praveen. He sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was admitted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
