Gone In 60 Seconds! Thieves Hack ₹20 Lakh Worth Hyundai Creta's Security System In New Delhi, Robbery Caught On Camera

A man with the username Rishabh Chauhan on Instagram claimed to be the owner of the car and posted CCTV footage dated 21 June, showing how his vehicle—parked outside his home in Safdarjung Enclave—was stolen. He also warned others against buying the Hyundai Creta.

New Delhi: A Hyundai Creta was stolen in the national capital during the early hours of the morning in less than a minute, leaving many stunned by the swift action of the thieves. A group of thieves arrived in a car, breached the security system, and drove it away.

A man with the username Rishabh Chauhan on Instagram claimed to be the owner of the car and posted CCTV footage dated 21 June, showing how his vehicle—parked outside his home in Safdarjung Enclave—was stolen. He also warned others against buying the Hyundai Creta.

The CCTV footage shows a car approaching from another direction and parking beside Chauhan's vehicle. A masked man steps out of the car, breaks the driver-side window with a screwdriver like object and then leaves. A few seconds later, the same car returns and parks next to the Creta. This time, another masked man steps out, hacks into the vehicle’s security system with the help of an electronic device, successfully unlocks it, and swiftly drives away.

Chauhan also shared a screenshot of the FIR, confirming that the Delhi Police have launched an investigation into the matter. The car was only six months old.

The video has recieved more than 3 million views and more than 108,207 likes on Instagram.
