Panic ensued aboard an IndiGo flight at Raipur Airport on Wednesday afternoon when the aircraft door failed to open for 30 minutes after landing. Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was among the passengers trapped inside.
The IndiGo flight 6E 6312 from Delhi encountered a technical issue upon touchdown, keeping passengers onboard for approximately half an hour. While the aircraft landed safely at 2:25 pm, a malfunction in the door mechanism prevented disembarkation.
Notable passengers affected included former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, legislator Chaturi Nand, and Raipur Mayor Meenal Chaubey. Airport staff and engineers worked to resolve the issue, eventually enabling all passengers to exit safely.
