Dr. Abhishek Shukla Appointed To National Committee For Advanced Palliative Care Curriculum

Dr. Abhishek Shukla, Founder and Secretary of Aastha Centre for Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care Hospital & Hospice, has been nominated to the Steering Committee for the Advanced Course Module for "Palliative and Hospice Caregivers" under the Senior Citizen Division of the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD).

The NISD operates under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. This appointment recognizes Dr. Shukla's significant contributions to the fields of geriatric care and palliative medicine over the years.

The committee's crucial role will be to develop a structured curriculum designed to train caregivers, ensuring compassionate and specialized care for the elderly.
