Delhi Court Accepts Closure Report In POCSO Case Against Ex-BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh
Delhi Court has accepted the closure report filed by Police in the POCSO case filed against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

A Delhi court has closed the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case filed against former Indian Wrestling Federation president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, which involved allegations made by a minor complainant. The court accepted the police's closure report on Monday, effectively ending further legal proceedings in the matter.
The Delhi Police had submitted a comprehensive 550-page report to the court on 15 June 2023, concluding their investigation had found no substantial evidence against Singh. Investigators noted the minor wrestler and her father had retracted their initial allegations when appearing before a magistrate, leading police to recommend the case be closed.
Singh, a former BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh, has consistently denied all accusations, claiming they were part of a political conspiracy to discredit him. He maintains his innocence, asserting the allegations were fabricated for political motives.
