Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Arvind Kejriwal Predicts AAP Will Win 55 Seats, Urges Women To Boost Turnout To Get 60 Seats

New Delhi, February 03: As the date of voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 closes in, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared his thoughts on social media, predicting that his party will win 55 seats in the upcoming elections. However, he believes that the number can go even higher with more support from women voters.

In his tweet, Kejriwal said, "According to my estimate, Aam Aadmi Party is going to get 55 seats. But if women put in a lot of effort — everyone should go out to vote and convince the men in their house to vote for Aam Aadmi Party — then it can get more than 60 seats."

Kejriwal’s message highlights the importance of voter turnout, especially among women. He encouraged women not only to cast their votes but also to motivate their family members to support AAP.

As the elections approach, AAP is focusing on increasing voter participation to secure a stronger position. Party leaders believe that active involvement from all sections of society, especially women, can make a significant difference in the final results.

Campaigning Ends Today

The Election Commission on Monday announced that the election campaigning in Delhi ended today 5 PM and post that leaders and candidates will not be allowed to engage with the media and also press conferences or interviews on election matters.

Election Commission said, "It was also informed to not telecast or broadcast advertisements of political nature by means mentioned above (which may include electronic media like radio, television, cable channel, internet, website, social media and projector, live media etc.) during the aforesaid period."

It also emphasised that leaders and candidates should refrain from engaging with the media during this period. EC said, "It was also informed that during the aforesaid period, political leaders, star campaigners and contesting candidates should refrain from addressing the media by way of press conferences and giving interviews on election matters."

Elections In Delhi

Elections will be held in Delhi on all 70 seats in single phase on February 5 and the counting of votes will be held on February 8.
