Chhattisgarh Tragedy: 6 Killed As Car Collides Head-On With Truck On NH 353 Near Bagbahara; Revenue Inspector Among Dead
A tragic accident occurred near Bagbahara on NH 353 on Thursday when a car and a truck collided head-on. The impact was so severe that the car was completely crushed, resulting in the immediate death of all six occupants. The truck driver sustained serious injuries.

Raipur: A tragic accident occurred near Bagbahara on NH 353 on Thursday when a car and a truck collided head-on. The impact was so severe that the car was completely crushed, resulting in the immediate death of all six occupants. The truck driver sustained serious injuries.
Upon receiving the report, Khallari police rushed to the scene and, with the help of a crane, extracted the deceased and the injured. The car, bearing registration number CG 04 QA 4757, was traveling from Raipur towards Bagbahara, while the truck, numbered HR 56B 7341, was headed in the opposite direction towards Mahasamund.
Among the deceased were Revenue Inspector Tahar Singh Thakur (52), Bindeshwari Thakur (48), Vaibhavi Thakur (19), Trupti Thakur (32), Sarojini Thakur (37) and car driver Suraj Kansari (30). They were reportedly on their way to meet a relative in Raipur. The bodies were sent for post-mortem, while the injured truck driver was provided medical attention.
Following the incident, a wave of mourning has spread in the area. The police have registered a case and begun investigating the cause of the accident.
