Chhattisgarh: CLP Leader Charan Das Mahant Chairs Meeting Ahead Of Budget Session

Raipur: Congress party conducted a meeting of Congress senior leaders, former Ministers, and ruling MLAs under the chairmanship of CLP leader Dr Charan Das Mahant at his official residence C-05, Shanti Nagar in the state capital on Monday evening.

In the meeting the Congress party leaders have chalked out strategies for the upcoming budget session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, beginning from February 24. Congress can gherao the ruling government on the pending issues like unemployment allowance, increase in power tariff, regular slashing of the central fund. Slow pace of central welfare schemes, fake encounters in Bastar and many more.

State Congress President Deepak Baij, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, former Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo, former Ministers Ravindra Choubey, Tamradhwaj Sahu, Dr Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Amarjeet Bhagat, Jaisingh Agrawal, Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Guru Rudra Kumar, and others attended the meeting.
