Centre Orders Special Security Measures In Rajasthan Amid Air Attack Concerns; Sirens To Be Installed In Border Districts
The guidelines of Directorate of Civil Defence mentioned that apart from the critical places, sirens installed in companies, factories, railway stations and other places built in the industrial area should also be used in emergency.

Even after the ceasefire, the central government has ordered to make special security arrangements in Rajasthan, being a border state.
Districts including Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota and Ajmer have been considered sensitive for air attacks, along with border districts of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ganganagar and Jodhpur. Instructions have been given to install electric sirens at important places in these districts, which will be operated from the centralized control room.
The guidelines of Directorate of Civil Defence mentioned that apart from the critical places, sirens installed in companies, factories, railway stations and other places built in the industrial area should also be used in emergency.
Similarly, Air Force stations in border districts and Jaipur have been asked to be connected to Civil Defense Control Centers through hotlines. This will provide immediate warning regarding air strikes and alerts can be sent to cities.
At the same time, the Directorate has instructed the collectors of all 10 districts to prepare an evacuation plan during danger air strikes. This will include how animals along with common people can be taken to safe places during air strikes and the emergencies.
The guidelines said that buildings of schools, colleges, community centers should be identified as shelter sites along with basements and underground parking of buildings
Besides this, orders have been given to set up control rooms at district or subdivision level with resources like rescue vehicles, keeping all staff informed and ensuring availability of other resources.
