Patna: There is apparently no limit to the audacity in Bihar these days, as now a "Sonalika Tractor" has applied for a residence certificate, using Bhojpuri actress Monalisa's photo.
About The Case
Close on the heels of a residence certificate issued in the name of ‘Dog Babu’ issued from Masaurhi in Patna district, somebody attempted to make a residence certificate in the name of “Sonalika Tractor” by using the photo of Bhojpuri actress Monalisa in East Champaran district.
The applicant used the photo of Bhojpuri actress Monalisa in the application. The name of the applicant who applied for the residence certificate was written as 'Sonalika Tractor'. The matter has been reported from the Chauradano police station area. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.

To make it more scandalous, the applicant wrote his father's name as 'Swaraj Tractor' and his mother's name as 'Car Devi'. As soon as the officials came to know about this strange application, they immediately started the investigation.
An FIR has been lodged against the unknown applicant at Kotwa police station. Police have launched a thorough investigation and are finding out whether any organised gang is behind this.
Considering it a serious case of cyber fraud and tampering with government documents, police have started investigating the IP address of the applicant. East Champaran district magistrate Saurabh Jorwal assured quick action in the matter, and said that the role of the personnel involved in this fraud, especially the data entry operators, was being investigated, and disciplinary action would be taken if found guilty.
