Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused transported the body in an auto-rickshaw before dumping it in the garbage truck. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect based on CCTV footage.
A case has been filed at Bengaluru's Channammanakere Achchukattu Police Station. Joint Commissioner of Police C. Vamsi Krishna stated that the suspect dumped the body between 1 am and 3 am. "The woman's hands and neck were tied, and the body was inside a gunny sack. BBMP staff alerted us about the discovery. We have registered a murder case and are investigating," he said.
This incident follows another shocking murder in Bengaluru, where a 33-year-old married woman, Harini R., was stabbed to death allegedly by her lover, Yashas (25). Reports suggest Harini, a mother of two, wanted to end the affair after her family became aware of it. Yashas reportedly asked to meet her one last time and allegedly murdered her in a hotel room.
