Bengaluru: The city is set to experience moderate rainfall on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The city woke up at 05: 54 AM with cloudy skies this morning and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 22 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:39 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 91 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the west at 11 km/h.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in Coastal areas, and North Interior Karnataka. Meanwhile, an orange alert has been issued in South Interior Karnataka. The IMD predicts that the southwest monsoon will likely reach Karnataka by the end of May, which is sooner than its typical arrival in early June. This early onset is expected to deliver higher-than-average rainfall to the area, potentially impacting agriculture and water supplies considerably.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered to widespread moderate rain with thunder and lightning across the state, with isolated heavy rain in coastal districts, south interior districts today and tomorrow, and north interior districts on May 19 and 20 @KarnatakaVarthe #KSNDMC."
