Bengaluru: The city woke up to cloudy skies and a pleasant breeze this morning. The residents of the city are set to experience light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on April 4, 2025. Meanwhile, the temperature is also likely to decrease by 3 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius, and the rainfall is likely to be accompanied by lightning, thunderstorms, and gusty winds.
The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 23 degrees Celsius in the morning and 29 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. The city witnessed the Sunrise at 06:14 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 06:31 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 77 per cent.
Bengalurians will get respite from heatwave
The state has been experiencing rising temperatures over the past few weeks. From today, the city is expected to experience pleasant weather conditions as light to moderate rainfall is predicted. With summer heat setting in, this spell of rainfall is a welcome change for Bengaluruians, who have been dealing with warm days.
KSNDMC shared a weather report
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitering Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for next five days on X and wrote, "1st to 3rd April over the state with cloudy weather, thunder, lightning & squall with wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph, scattered moderate rain and heavy rain over northern hinterland."
A yellow alert has been issued in these regions
The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in these regions, including Coastal areas, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Today, the rainfall is likely to occur in these regions and it will be accompanied by gusty winds, lightning and thunderstorms.
